The founding entity. Incorporated in the United Kingdom, serving as the base for network operations and independent technical work.
The American counterpart. Established to extend ALUE's presence and operational reach into the United States.
The company was founded under this name — a deliberate choice. Network activity was the reason for its existence: operating infrastructure, studying routing behaviour, maintaining a small but intentional presence on the internet. The name said exactly what we did.
Over time, it became clear that our scope might not stay narrow forever. The work could extend beyond networking — into other independent projects, other kinds of building. Keeping the name open felt honest. So we simplified it.
That said, network research remains at the core of what we do. Alue Network is not a name we leave behind — it lives on as the identity of our network operations, and likely always will.
In June 2026, ALUE established its second entity — this time in the United States. Not a replacement or a rebrand, but an extension. Two independent entities, one in the United Kingdom and one in the United States, now constitute what ALUE is.
